Life's good for all of you? I hope so. I am in a happy state of my life now, with so much to look forward to.
Unexpectedly, I went to Vietnam.
A quite fact. Pictures you are about to see here are pictures that I've not posted on fb :)
Here goes.
It's my first time in Vietnam. Thanks to CH's unexpected call the night before and I before I know it, I was on the flight to Vietnam the very next day.
I was on the Plane and I saw rivers of Vietnam from the plane. It was so BEAUTIFUL!!
I then arrived at the airport. It wasn't like any airport I've been to.
Looks pretty empty.
Anyhow, I wasn't there to sightsee. I was there to do my stuff.
Went and met the Yan Yan and CH there.
My meals were mostly provided. I didn't have to worry at all.
2nd Day, CH brought me to the Ben Thanh Market. Where I got my loot for 宝贝, BFFE and Twinnie.
I went around looking for Vietnamese "Broken Rice". But to no avail. it was like God saying No.
We walked to the chain store selling it and it was renovating. Went to a eatery and chanced upon it but they ran out of it. :( Sad foodie is sad.
Nevertheless, we manage to eat something else.
The Beef Pho (Pronounced as "fer") from the market which was fairly expensive. Probably to chop tourists.

I was pretty sure I had other pics of food. But I can't seem to find them.
Nevertheless, continuing my story.
On the car ride to places, I saw some places of Vietnam.
Did you know that Vietnam is a communist country?

There was a huge temple. Vietnam is a Buddhist country.
It was time to go back and prepare for what's to come next.

Bought ice cream coz we were hungry. CH was complaining we BOJIO him.

Deprived of Gum since I live in a country which is GUM-FREE.

The night was still young and we were brought to a road side shop to eat seafood. THERE WAS TOO MUCH FOOD! :O

The meal was so SATISFYING.
We went back to rest and it was time to head back.
I took a flight there by myself. (First time doing that!)
Took a flight back with CH. 宝贝 was there to pick me up at the airport.
This trip was short. It has nevertheless opened my eyes to a different culture and cuisine. I thank those who made it possible for me to take this trip.
