I think River Safari is alright..not really amazing...
We took a bus there :)
Finally, we arrived!
Ignore that dude in the pic, I have no idea who he is.
Took pic with the sign, epic fail because cannot take whole signage.
Yay!
We started exploring the place. First was Amazon river. Didn't take any photos, we merely walked through it. We wanted to see PANDAS!!!
We entered the Squirrel Monkey Forest.
A few monkeys playing with each other.
While this monkey is just Lepak-ing. #JustChill
Overheard a tourist say "why this place have so many monkeys?"
I was thinking "Ya, the sign board says Squirrel Monkey Forest. Were you expecting puppies in here?!"
We headed for the boat ride because I wanted to take the boat ride. HEHEHE.
Unfortunately, the boat ride tickets have to be bought separately. At $5 per adult. Reasonable price in my opinion.
He just cannot smile properly...tsk tsk.
E videoing the whole ride process.
More monkeys.
"Watch out for JAGUARS" Hmm...
Flamingoes ;)
Red birds
That kinda concludes the ride...which was abt 20 mins?
Couple Shot!
After the boat ride, we arrived at the Yangtze River section.
I got reminded of this chinese saying "长江后浪推前浪“
Lol. really random.
Aiyoh...why so cute eh.
We bought Panda Pau!
The one with yellow eyes is chocolate custard pau
The other one is red bean pau.
They are going for $2.90 each at the chinese fast food restaurant.
I wanted to take a selfie with my panda pau. But that extra panda just had to appear.
I see 2 cute pandas :P
Saw this panda statue.
Outside the restaurant was this glass panel with nothing at first. Inside, it was a polar bear!!! So cute! I assume the other side was the Zoo.
polar bear. it's head is out of the water.
It looks like a giant soft toy!!!
Jia jia eating!
Manage to take photo of one of the pandas, as the exhibition area for the other panda was crazily crowded. This is the female panda, jia jia. Apparently, she doesn't come out all the time. I think she must have known I was gonna be there so she came out to say Hi.
Just Kidding, I don't know her personally.
I have no idea what kind of birds are these...but I never knew birds are carnivorous.
This one with a dead mouse in it's mouth.
Gross!
We continued our journey through Ganges River and Mississippi River. And we saw this Snapping turtle statue.
Cuteness Overload! I think I'm bias.
Going somewhere? The turtle taxi service is free!!
That pretty much sums up our day at the River Safari.
Took 138 back to AMK had some KFC for dinner and guess what we did!
TA-DA!! we took NEOPRINTS!
I was so happy that day!!
Thank you so much for buying our tickets and bringing me to River Safari :) I had tons of fun! I hope you did too :*
